We have worked with many airlines to ensure a smooth transition to our system and to be sure that the anxiety and skepticism of new reservation software is avoided. We have answered the majority of general questions we normally receive so that you can better understand what CarmenRez is capable of providing for your airline.

What is CarmenRez?
CarmenRez is the ultimate web-based airline reservation system. CarmenRez provides small and
medium sized airlines with all the tools they need to operate a completely paperless
airline. CarmenRez uses a completely online dynamic database system to produce an efficient and productive reservation and inventory management tool which grows with your airline.
What are the system requirements to use CarmenRez?
Since CarmenRez is hosted on our servers, there's nothing to install and no server/platform requirements to worry about. All you need is a modern web browser with Javascript turned on (CarmenRez officially supports IE 6 or later on the PC, Firefox on Mac, PC, Linux, and Safari on Mac) and an internet connection. CarmenRez does not support IE 5.x on the Mac or PC. If you have IE 5, we recommend switching to Firefox — it's modern, fast, compatible, and free.
We are not 100% computer literate, will we have a problem using the software?
Not at all. The system is very intuitive and we have spent many hours fine-tuning its features to be easily understood and used by computer users of all levels. If you can click a mouse, you can use CarmenRez.
Is the system secure?
Yes. CarmenRez is hosted on our secure server and offers multiple levels of application security allowing various administrators and agents varying levels of control over the software itself.
We are strictly a charter operation, will the system work for us?
Yes. CarmenRez can be used to create and book charter flights. You define the dates, origins, destinations, aircraft used, and capacities and CarmenRez takes care of organizing it all into an easy to use flight management system. Once the flight is built in the system your agents can book your clients, or, using the web booking module, allow your clients to book themselves.
We want to allow our customers to book online like Jet Blue, can CarmenRez do that for us?
Yes. CarmenRez provides real-time booking and confirmation with up to the minute availability and fare assignment. How much will CarmenRez cost to operate?
CarmenRez comes in two versions. Please see the pricing plans here. Please note that unlike most systems available, we do not price by user license quantity and our startup and leasing costs are significantly lower than those of our competitors. Our systems include unlimited user accounts and no limit on user administration.
Also unlike most systems, we do not charge a per PAX booking fee. This means that your booking costs when using the system can be as low as $.15 per PAX.
How do we accept online bookings?
You will first need a merchant account to accept credit cards. Once this is completed, we will integrate your merchant account with CarmenRez. CarmenRez is currently setup to work with Card Services Intl (LinkPoint), Authorize.net, SecurePay and several other common gateways.
Our airline is constantly growing as we acquire new aircraft and create new routes, can CarmenRez handle our constant growth?
Yes. CarmenRez is completely scaleable and grows with you. It supports an unlimited number of aircraft, flights, routes, dates, etc.
Will my CarmenRez site look like my company's identity?
You can customize your CarmenRez site with your company's name, colors, logo, and a URL of your choice (e.g. yourname.myairline.com).
Can I get my data out if I want to discontinue using CarmenRez?
Yes, we can easily export all your clients and reservations for you. If you're unhappy with the service we'll do everything we can to make the transition away from CarmenRez a pleasant one.
Can we run CarmenRez on our own servers?
CarmenRez is a web-based, hosted service. It is not available for purchase to install on your own servers.
What about privacy, security, and confidentiality?
We take careful precautions to protect our customers' information. The CarmenRez server is as secure as can reasonably be provided, and is housed in a state-of-the-art secure facility with power and internet backup. Your CarmenRez site is password protected and we will not sell or share your information or any data you enter. No one will be able to access your data unless you grant permission. Though we offer safeguards to protect your data, please keep in mind that we can not guarantee 100% security. Take appropriate measures with your links, passwords, and user accounts. How long are reservations and customer records stored?
Reservations booked through CarmenRez are saved throughout the life of the system. This means that all of your customers are saved in one place making for the ultimate marketing tool forever your airline.
